How soon will I know if my appointment was accepted?
We try our best to review appointment requests as soon as we can, but due to current workload, we may not be able to review and respond right away. Please allow us 48 hours to review and respond to your appointment request. If you have not received a follow up from one of our crewmembers, you may reach out to us via email INFO@24KSHINE.COM
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Tuesday through Sunday 8am-7pm, we are closed on Mondays
Do you take same-day or last minute appointments?
We are appointment only. Please refer to our booking site to view our available days and times. You are able to schedule appointments up to 12 hours in advance, and join the waitlist that will automatically schedule your appointment if we have a cancellation. We will NOT accomadate same day appointments under any circumstances.
What is your cancellation fee?
We ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance from the start of your appointment time. We do have a cancellation fee of $25 if these guidelines are not met. We are unable to service you until this fee is paid.
I scheduled an appointment, but no one showed up. What happened?
Please remember that when scheduling an appointment, this is a request. We need to review your request and update the status to accepted or denied. An appointment is not confirmed until you receive a separate message with an updated status.
Is it okay if you wash my car on the street?
No. We do not work on the side of a public street due to safety hazards and fines. You will be responsible to find a secure location (parking lot, residential, business, etc.) for us to service you. If you are unable to find a location, you may drop off your vehicle at our shop located in Santa Ana, CA. Please inquire prior to your appointment.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We do require a deposit for some, but not all, services. A 20% non-refundable deposit will be required for a 24K Ultimate Detail, all Ceramic Coatings, Window Tints and Removals, PPF, Interior Rejuvenation, and Exterior Enhancement. An appointment will not be accepted until this deposit is received.
Can I leave my vehicle in the shop if I can’t pick it up later in the day once my service is done?
You may leave your vehicle in our shop up to 24 hours after we have finished for no charge. There is a $100 fee for each additional 24 hours.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes. We take all forms of payment except checks.
Can I book through a crew member via email, text, or social media?
We strongly urge all of our customers to book through our booking link.
However, any inquiry that requires a crew member to book your service(s) instead of you completing it through our link will require a minimum deposit of
$50.
Will you remove trash from my vehicle during my service?
All trash you would like for us to remove needs to be placed on the floor mats. If there is any trash left elsewhere such as the cup holders or on the seats, we will work around it.
Can you remove scratches?
Our paint correction package is the best service for this however there is no guarantee that scratches will be fully removed.
Can you remove swirls?
Our 18k Full Detail, 24K Ultimate Detail, and Exterior Enhancement services are recommended if you’d like swirls to be removed however there is no guarantee.
Can you remove oil stains?
No, we have make improvements but there is no guarantee.
What areas in California do you service mobile?
We only service Orange County cities via mobile services. We will provide mobile service for cities outside of Orange County for a minimum job of $1000 or a travel fee depending on distance and time. If you are located outside of Orange County, CA and would like to book our mobile services, please inquire prior to booking.
Can I be tracked with my license plate number if it’s posted on social media?
No. If you do not want your vehicle posted on our social media, please let us know at the start of your appointment time.
What if the weather says it will rain 24 hours after my appointment?
We pay close attention to the weather and will reach out to all customers with a scheduled appointment to reschedule if it’s supposed to rain 24 hours after your appointment time. If you decline the recommendation to reschedule, we are not responsible for your vehicle after it rains.
Why is your ceramic coating pricing cheaper than other places?
Because we do not require a paint correction prior to the coating. Some other auto shops may require this step before application. Our 1-step enhancement, which is included in the price, is sufficient enough to prep your paint before application. However, if you would like a paint correction we can add this on for an additional charge.
